This guide will help you set up Babel for your server.

Organization tips​

To make it really seamless it would be ideal to hide other languages' channels from the users speaking some single language. The access control module is still in development; however, what you can do right now is:

  • Create the channels
  • Create a Community onboarding question like so: Onboarding questionnaire screenshot
  • For each answer, add the person to a role named English, French, or others
  • Autoinvite the people to the corresponding channels based on the role
